About
I paint mostly in acrylics and gouache, though I have been known to wield watercolor and Photoshop from time to time.
Most people would categorize my art as "figurative": people look like people, goats look like goats, etc. I'm too painterly to be "realistic" and I value beautiful images too much to be categorized as "conceptual".
I live and work in Decatur, Georgia, which is close enough to Atlanta to be considered metropolitan, but far enough away to conserve its beauty and charm. My husband is the insanely talented Goñi Montes. Our cat, Cornflakes, gives us unconditional love (when she's hungry).
